The Vacaville city council is meeting on Tuesday, November 11 at 7pm regarding the purchase by the city of the Vacaville Ice Sports Building. Like last weeks hearing at the Redevelopment Agency we need to show up in force.

It appears that the City of Vacaville is considering purchasing Vacaville Ice Sports. If they do there is the possibility that they may want to remove one of the ice surfaces. And if they do that there would be no room for Wine Country Curling.

Edith Loudon (Crush 2008 champion) is set to challenge Kelly Wood for the right to represent Scotland in the Women’s European Championship in Sweden. Loudon occasionally curl at WCC is a veteran of Euro and world championships and once represented United Kingdon in the Nagano Olympics.
